The purpose of this page is to explain CA Medicare Supplement core advice. All modern Medicare Supplement plans must cover a minimum set of benefits. These minimum benefits are known as the Medicare Supplement core benefits. All Medicare Supplement policies must include these core benefits. In addition to the core benefits there are other standard features a Medicare Supplement can have. A Medicare Supplement policy cannot be made up of whatever additional features an insurance company wants to have in them. There are ten standard plans which an insurance company can offer.
