If certain conditions are met Medicare Part B may help to pay for pap tests, ambulance services, prostate cancer screenings, glaucoma screenings, artificial eyes, prosthetic limbs, mammograms, vaccinations, colorectal cancer screenings, transplants, emergency care, braces, second opinions, diagnostic tests, pelvic exams, diabetes services and supplies, bone mass measurements and dialysis. Medicare Part B does exclude certain physician services. These include eye exams and glasses, routine foot care, most cosmetic surgery hearing exams and routine physical exams. For each 12 month period that you are eligible to sign up for Part B that you do not sign up for it the premium amount increases by 10%.
