The treatment has to be a type of treatment that would be covered by Medicare if the care been received in the United States. Covers a variety of preventive care services that are not covered by Medicare. There is an annual limit on this benefit. It is also possible for additional benefits to be offered in Medicare Supplement policies, but these additional benefits must be approved by the state insurance commissioner.
